Google Calander

Google Calendar Integration Setup:

  1. Enable or Disable Integration:
    • At the top of the settings panel, you can toggle the Google Calendar integration between Enabled or Disabled. When enabled, appointments will sync with your connected Google Calendar account.
  2. Event Title Customization:
    • The Event title field allows you to customize the title that will appear on the Google Calendar for appointments. In this example, it uses a dynamic placeholder: Appointment on {appointment_date}, which will automatically populate the appointment date.
  3. Event Description Customization:
    • In the Event description field, you can provide a message template that includes relevant placeholders. In this case:csharp
    • These placeholders will dynamically populate with actual appointment details such as the customer’s name, staff member, date and time of the appointment, and location.
  4. Add Customers as Attendees:
    • Below the description, there’s an option to Add customers as attendees in your calendar events. If toggled on, customers will be automatically added as attendees for the appointments synced to your Google Calendar.
  5. Send Email Invitations via Google:
    • You can enable or disable the Send email invitations to attendees by Google option. If enabled, Google Calendar will send automatic email invites to attendees (customers and staff), notifying them of the appointment.
  6. Customers Can See Other Attendees:
    • There is an additional toggle for Customers can see other attendees, which, when enabled, allows customers to see the names of other people attending the same event in the calendar.
  7. Appointment Approval Settings:
    • At the bottom, you can specify which appointments should appear on the Google Calendar. In this case, it is set to sync only Approved appointments. You may have other categories like pending or canceled, but only the selected type will sync to Google Calendar.
  8. Save Changes:
    • After configuring the settings, click on the Save Changes button at the top right of the page to apply your preferences.
